Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to be a part of the 1st annual Women’s Night Out put on by Dr. Kristin Hess, owner of Hess Family Chiropractic in Cold Spring, MN. She put out the invitation to her clients, who were invited to come and bring a friend. The turnout was fantastic! Many people, of all ages, came and took in the activities, food and great company. Dr. Kristin had some acupuncture therapy available, tries on the roller table and gave away coffee mugs.
Lisa Hunstiger, owner of Harmonic Wellness Center was available to give back massages and had some of her products available for sale, which, by the way, smell amazing! She makes her own soaps, body scrubs, lotions and chapsticks all from natural ingredients. My husband has been to her for her massage services and highly recommends her! Make your appointment today!
Have you ever driven by St. Boniface church and seen the BIG house across the street with a gift shop sign out front? I have. But I’ve never gone in and did not even know that there was a restaurant inside. Well, Melissa Naatz, owner of The White Rabbit cafe inside the building, treated us to some DELICIOUS samples of her talent. She serves lunch daily and uses locally grown farm to table ingredients in her menu. The drink served at our event, a berry and sage infused lemonade, was divine! Please take some time to visit her cafe and shop in the gift shop, which has a wonderful array of recycled items for you to choose from.
I was invited to showcase some of my work, like prints and albums. I took some shots of the event and hope I am invited back for next year! All the businesses showcased had some trinkets to give away. Images on Main and the Tan Line had some great giveaways also. Thanks goes to all who participated whether you were a sponsor or a guest. And thank you Kristin for inviting me to be a part of your event!
