  • Amy - Heidi, your images are wonderful and I so want to escape into a book right now! I was just talking today to a co-worker about how much literature provides an escape for my brain. Shame there is very little time for escaping these days!ReplyCancel

  • Deirdre - I so enjoyed this post. Thank you for mentioning it in the comment on my site, Heidi. I too don’t remember being read to (I was one of 9, there wasn’t much time for reading to kids) but both my parents were passionate readers themselves and I’ve come to believe it is just as important (if not more) for kids to see their own parents make time for books if we want our kids to be readers.

Loved this peek into your bookshelves, both past and present. Hope you’ll continue to share when you find new books to love. Are you on goodreads?ReplyCancel

  • Karthika - Very well written Heidi! – I want to know more about the boxes with the words and what looks like herbs…seems like an interesting corner of your house 🙂ReplyCancel
