This past May, I had the opportunity to be a second shooter at a wedding that my dear friend Beth from Manic Mother Photography was hired for. My job as the second shooter for this wedding was to be with the men as they prepped for the ceremony, catch the details of the wedding reception, and get any angle that Beth did not get during the ceremony itself. We also made sure we were both using different lenses when shooting a scene so that we created different looks for a scene.
The bride did a stellar job of creating a homey, rustic atmosphere. All her decorations were handmade. the dishes were all thrift store antiques, and mason jars made for beer mugs. The day itself was HOT and muggy, which is very unusual for May in Minnesota. I had so much fun though, and look forward to October when Beth and I will be shooting another wedding together. I hope you enjoy looking at these images of my first wedding as seen through my lens.
