Greeting and Happy New Year!
A few months ago, our blog circle decided to do a secret santa project. We all logged onto a website, registered and the site randomly assigned us a secret santa. Our mission was to buy our person a gift, send it off and document it for our January blog circle. For the most part, it worked. Because of delays in the postal service, packages not being delivered that had documentation of being delivered, people living in different countries, we finally got to a point where we could pick a date for our posts to go live.
To start, I received my gift right after christmas.
I was surprised to see my gift was from New York!
Oh the anticipation….
The beautiful wrapping….
Here comes the fun part!!
With me wearing it!! (pardon my sloppiness) Photo taking credit goes to my son Ethan.
thank you so much secret santa!! I love everything!
So, my gift to my secret santa, all wrapped so lovingly. By the way, I detest wrapping cylindrical objects. I should know better than to buy them in the first place. I included some cards made from photographs that I’ve taken.
All packaged up in a box, ready for the post office. Aaaaaannnd i make the mistake of spelling her name wrong, doink!!! That’s why the little oops is written on the package. I’m so hoping that she loves this gift so much that she won’t mind though!! By the way, I’ve blackened out who my gift goes to so you can see who it is when you click through the link to her!!
My package gets weighed at the post office….
And the postmaster and his employee are so gracious when I ask for a picture of them and my package. They assure me they will take excellent care of it until it lands in the hands of its recipient.
So thank you to all the girls for participating in this wonderful experiment! I hope you all had as much fun as I did and crossing fingers we get to do it next year with smoother results!!
